Jobe Bellingham has reaffirmed his commitment to Borussia Dortmund, insisting he sees himself staying at the club for many years after an encouraging debut season in Germany.
Having joined from Sunderland last summer, the young midfielder initially had to be patient for regular opportunities. However, since the turn of the year, he has established himself as a key figure in Dortmund’s midfield.
Reflecting on his development, Bellingham highlighted the importance of consistent game time in helping young players grow and adapt.
“When you’re playing games, you start to feel a better rhythm. You understand your teammates, the system, the style, and the environment much better,” he explained.
The England Under-21 international, who signed a contract until 2030, left no doubt about his long-term intentions.
“I’m going to be here for a long time, so I’m happy that I’m building that rhythm.”
Bellingham also emphasized his relentless desire for self-improvement, revealing that he is eager to become more influential in attacking areas.
While he enjoys carrying the ball and dictating play from midfield, he wants to add more goals and assists to his game without sacrificing his tactical discipline.
